How to Use Ora-Aid
Use the product cutting it to the size of the affected area and a wound. For a wound, attach the product after properly removing saliva or water to lengthen the period of use. At the time of attaching the product to the affected area, press it gently for 3~5 seconds.
  • 1. Check the damage of the product package and expiry date and clean the attaching area with physiological saline.
  • 2. Cut Ora-Aid to the shape and size of the attaching area.
  • 3. Wipe the exudation/saliva from the attaching area, take out the release sheet and attach the adhesive surface on the affected area. (In case of the product is larger than the attaching area, or in case of too much saliva/moisture is secreted, the product may not be attached properly)
  • 4. Press the product gently for 3~5 seconds for the adhesive strength to be created properly, reacting to saliva.
  • 5. It is recommended to use the product after suture (Some cases can be used with suture). At the time of gauze bite after attaching the product, it may fall off. So give sufficient explanation to the patient.
Precautions of Use and Storage Instructions
The product does not easily react to too much saliva and water (Attach the product after properly removing water). Do not try to take out the product by force after attaching it. The adhesive surface of the product naturally melts into saliva and exuviates. If it is taken off by force, the wound may be infected.
  • 1. In case you have heartburn, allergic reaction or infection symptom during use of this product, stop using it and consult a doctor or a pharmacist immediately.
  • 2. Do not use expired, damaged or contaminated products.
  • 3. Do not use the product to much bleeding area or to a deep wound where muscle, bone or sinew is seen.
  • 4. Spit or remove remaining protective surface after the adhesive surface is dissipated. During sleeping, remove the product for safety.
  • 5. Pay sufficient attention when the product is used for infants or baby patients
  • 6. Store the products in the package at room temperature (20¨¬C).
  • 7. Do not store the products at the place with much inflammable, direct sunlight or much moisture.
